Why study European Administration at the Faculty of European Studies??

European Administration is a three-year BA programme that will help you gain knowledge and competencies in the following fields:

  • public policies;
  • public relations and organisations;
  • current law, economic, social and political environment.

During the courses, students learn about national and European policies and programs, acquire knowledge about democratic values ​​and legislative benchmarks existing at the level of the European Union, and not only that.

The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects that broadens your horizons and gives you the opportunity to develop critical skills that will help you throughout your life, and the degree you get gives you many career possibilities and the chance to tackle important issues and propose changes major both within the local, central or European administration, as well as in private or non-profit organizations.

Today’s society faces an urgent need for sustainable development, with the need to find and implement solutions for the efficient use of resources. The knowledge you will obtain here, at the European Administration, will help you to carry out analyzes and connections between the economic, political and social environment, to know the legislative environment and to be able to contribute to the development and implementation of public policies. The European Administration specialization thus offers you the chance to enter a rewarding career in which to undertake positive changes for individuals, the community and the general public.

While studying European Administration:

You will gain management and coordination skills;

The European Administration programme offers you the opportunity to interact with prominent professionals in the field, with leading professors and the chance to attend conferences and round tables. You will encounter enthusiastic team-players who will provide answers to an array of topics, from European integration, racial equality and climate change to EU projects legislation, issues related to ethics and community development in general.

This programme offers a path towards better understanding and implementing change in this complex global world and helps you prepare to become a leader who can guide others, to become part of the change and to see your ideas put into practice.

To accomplish all this, we have two additional options available for our students, aimed to enrich their personal and professional experience, as well as their academic knowledge base:

The Faculty of European Studies has one of the most extended networks of partner universities in the framework of the Erasmus Programme (100 at this time). This allows our students to study abroad for one semester or one academic year, in universities from all over Europe.

That provide access to the organisational or institutional environment with some of the most representative public institutions in counties near Cluj or with central government institutions, such as the National Agency of Civil Servants.

Elaborate strategies aiming to optimize administrative processes in the private and public environment.
Process factual information and statistics issued by European institutions with the aim of assessing their administrative capabilities.
Elaborate and implement financed projects aiming to solve social and economic problems.
Manage staff training in order to optimize their performance on all administrative levels, in the process of European integration.
