Admission fee for the academic year 2023-2024

Discount applications shall be submitted to the faculty secretariat on 1-12 October 2023. The fee discount is granted as a reduction of the third and fourth instalment, depending on the case.

The admission fee is composed of the application fee (150 Ron) and the processing fee (50 Ron).

  • *Note – processing fee: Candidates applying to several programmes / lines of study – International Relations and European Studies (in Romanian, English, German), Management, Diplomacy in Business, European Administration – shall apply separately for each of them and pay the processing fee for each programme (50 RON) and the application fee only once (150 Ron).
  • The payment is made online, on the admission platform from the candidate’s account (section Pay- Plateste). The message Successful payment (Plata online finalizata cu succes) will be displayed after payment.
  • Employees’ children and employees of Babeș-Bolyai University (BBU), Botanical Garden, BBU Central Library, BBU restaurants and cafeterias, as well as didactic and auxiliary staff’s children currently employed or retired are exempt from the payment of the application fee. They shall pay the processing fee which is non-refundable and relates to administrative and communication aspects of the admission.
  • Candidates who are orphan of both parents and persons placed in foster care are exempt from the payment of the admission fee (application fee and processing fee).

The admission fee is non-refundable.

Tuition fee for the academic year 2023-2024

The BA level tuition fee for the academic year is 3.300 RON.

►If a student is enrolled in 2 BA programmes of study simultaneously at the Faculty of European Studies, the fee for the second programme is discounted by 50% (1650 Ron).
►If a student is enrolled in 2 BA programmes of study simultaneously at BBU, the fee for the second programme at the Faculty of European Studies is discounted by 25% (2475 Ron).
►Graduates of the Faculty of European Studies receive, upon request, a 25% discount of the tuition fee (2475 RON) if they graduated from another BA programme at any faculty of BBU.
